3:53 am - Sad Notes, Happy Notes, New Tones

Well, it's been quite a bit since I've last given a report, aye say? Well I'm sorry to say, aye say, that it's been a tough past couple of months. I'll start with the very tragic news of the passing of our own Cooltone, Harold, pictured here:

In mid-February Harold succumbed to his addiction to cocaine. Harold spent years battling the drug and personal demons, many of which arose from the guilt of knocking thousands of penguins down a mountain after trying to purchase a cool can of Canada Dry Ginger Ale. Poor gent.

Memorial services for Harold were held earlier this week, in his home town in Sussex, England. Nevertheless, the Cooltones and I have decided to push on. Our newest member, Bruce, has a long and illustrious singing career, known best for his work with the Fast Fins.

The album is still to come. Many of the vocal tracks went unfinished in Harold's absence, and now that we've Bruce aboard, things are looking up to getting the album out in the recent months.
Take care and God-bless.

Ello, gents and lady-gents!
I'm just wrapping up my first US tour, with a show tonight at the Bowery Ballroom with Interpol. They're a bit obscure, and only a few have heard of them, but they are a nice outfit nonetheless!
While outontour, I been workin on new material for me next, as-of-yet-untitled album. After a few days of rest, I'm headed to the studio with my new band.
Until then, bert

Well, folks. I've done it. My debut album, "Steppin' Time," is complete. But it didn't come easy, no.
First, I had to raise a bit of money...

Then, I holed up in the studio to record it.

When it was finally through, I had to select an album cover

After that, me agent called. Said the label wanted to try a video shoot. Here's a few pics from bein' "on location" shooting the video for "Round the Chimney!"
Mary was such a good sport!
And George! Took us a while to convince him to wear the bowler, aye!
Well, the album should be out for the New Year. Let's hope all goes well, that's what I says!

Jon bought me Surf's Up in the vinyl LP format for Christmas. For everyone who don know, Surf's Up is a LOST Beach Boys masterpiece, from the 70s. Everyone but Brian Wilson wrote most of the songs, but it's incredible!
Question: What would look great in a hot air balloon?
